The basic Argentinean diet must have meat in every possible way you can think of… but the preferred way to cook meat is to make “Asado” or barbecue.

In this picture you can see chorizos, morcillas, chinchulines, molleja, costillas or ribs (you don´t really want to know to which part of the cow this names refer… believe me, the best thing is to just eat it and see if you like it…).

Then you salt the meat…

You wait and you wait until the meat cooks slowly …

And you enjoy it!


It usually goes with different salads and fries and of course white bread… another staple food of Argentina…
